After much discussion, we decided to make another go at writing, starting on the Tuesday after Labor Day (the traditional First Day of School where we grew up) 2013. We started this blog as a sort of diary to track the thought process, agonies, and joys of writers who have "aspiring" for far too many years.
This blog was named primarily after a famous line in a Walt Whitman poem made famous by the film Dead Poets Society. Of course, this is a not-so-subtle nod to the time that we stood on our desks before English class one day and were told to get down. (So much for having a captain.)
